Aaron Rodgers is a Brett Favre wannabe...everything he learned was from Brett..Couldn't match his records no matter how hard he tries..plus he doesn't have that warmth with the players and fans...he gets the boobie prize from me.
How is that a bad thing? Don't you think Steve Young learned everything he knows from Joe Montana, and Matt Cassell larned everything he knows from Tom Brady? Backups are always going to take after whoever the starter is. Obviously the starter is doing something they aren't, and to become better players the backups will take skills and habits from the starter. Rodgers isn't out there trying to break Favre's records simply because they're Favre's. It's undeniable that no one can replace the legacy Favre left. However, Rodgers is doing a hell of a job keeping the Packers in the game even with a sub-par, injury-riddled offensive line and a running game that is non-existent in the first half of games so far. If you don't think he has the support of Packer fans you're sadly mistaken.
I am a senior in the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I have been an avid sports fan for as long as I can remember, and have personally participated in numerous sports in my "career" including football, basketball, baseball, lacrosse, soccer, and track and field.
