Wisconsin running back John Clay made the front cover of Sports Illusrated's annual "Pictures of the Year" edition. Clay was the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year this season, as he rushed for a league high 111.3 yards per game and 13 touchdowns. Clay is currently not heading for the NFL draft; he plans to return to Wisconsin next year.

ReplyDeleteWisconsin's tradition of great running backs is due to its history of bruising, no nonsense offensive line. Good to have Clay back, but his success in 2010 hinges on another powerful offensive line.
